Candlelight had blinded me so.
Its dance seduced me so.
It was for sunlight I ought have waited so.
It was sunlight I ought have waited for,
Walked with care through the darkness for,
Follow did I, the candlelight more,
Betrayeth me thee fickle candlelight whore.
Later times spent in darkness,
Were not spent in emptyness.
Rather, in the wonder-ness,
Of seeing a stars tenderness.
Dawn is now broken, no more is the gloom.
Yonder I see, beauteous flower bloom.
